Description Conor 2017-12-30 15:30:54 UTC
Hi,

I've been trying to render videos as x264 MP4 files (strongly preferred) or as your default WebM files. I haven't had any success with either.

The MP4 option displayed after pressing the render button has a red cross beside it and a message saying that codec is not installed. I can confirm that I have copied files from FFMPEG, following windows installation instructions.

The WebM option fails with crash. Crash error message is copied below.

Rendering of E:/Conor/BBCAlbaClips/untitled.webm crashed

All the best,

CONOR.

This is solved with the actual version 18.08.2. I closed this bug. If it still appears in the latest version, please feel free to re-open it and update the affected version number.
