It is an ending character error in Korean input.
For example,
Writing "안녕하세요"
If i write "안",  i can not see it in the canvas.
If i write "안녕", i will see "안".
If i write "안녕하", i can see "안녕".

My linux is ubuntu 17.10

I used Input method:
apt install uim uim-byeoru

Hi,

I'm afraid that the old text tool is unmaintained. We're working on a new one, and hope to be bringing out the first development builds pretty soon. Please test again with that version.
