(*** This bug was imported into bugs.kde.org ***) Package: keditbookmarks Version: KDE 2.9.0 3 (CVS >= 20020213) Severity: wishlist Installed from: SuSE Compiler: gcc version 2.95.3 20010315 (SuSE) OS: Linux (i686) release 2.4.16-4GB OS/Compiler notes: IE 5 and up have the ability to bookmark a page with the including frameset information. This means if you bookmark a page with frames you actually get back to the right place not just the start page of the frameset. A description can be found here: http://www.netmag.co.uk/ie5/favorites-frames.htm This ability seems neat it is of course a hack but a cool hack which rather surprised me when I tried to show some users why frames for our homepage are bad. Boy demonstration effect now we get a page with frames... (Submitted via bugs.kde.org) (Called from KBugReport dialog. Fields Application manually changed)
Although frames aren't used widely anymore I'm surprised this issue existed, shouldn't Konqueror's add to bookmark bookmark whatever is in the location bar?
