It would be great if there was a possibility to switch with the mouse between the images in big preview mode. I thought of mapping this function to the mouse wheel, because left and right mouse button are already used. Scrolling up would be the same as arrow left and scrolling down the same as arrow right.

This is it, thanks! Is there / is there going to be a possibility to switch between the pictures only with the mouse (without using the for this purpose provided buttons on the upper left of the preview canvas)? When I add face tags to my pictures, the left hand is on the number pad to which the names of the persons are mapped and the right hand is, of course, on the mouse. When working on many hundreds of pictures, it would take me a significant amount of extra time to always move the left hand from the number pad to SHIFT and back. When not zoomed into the picture, scrolling the mouse wheel does nothing, so mapping next picture and previous picture to the mouse wheel would not collide with other functions.
From the keyboard only, Page Up/Down permit to switch between images too. This is not enough ? This prevent to switch between keyboard and mouse context with hands. Gilles Caulier
I would really prefer being able to switch between the pictures with the mouse wheel. But this is very low priority because I won't need this feature in the next months.
SHIFT + Mouse Wheel already do the job.
