I cannot add a keyboard shortcut for "Create Text File" action. I use that feature frequently so in my opinion there should be an option to assign a keyboard shortcut for it.
It doesn't have to be limited to text files but yeah a shortcut for this should exist!
Marking as a wish, it should theoretically not be too hard to implement if you can find out where the action is defined.

Any progress on this, I just built dolphin with the linked phabricator patch from #Comment 5 and works as it should, given I have set my own shortcut to F12, not a big deal, but I prefer one key instead of two :-) Is there anything holding it back, apart from the proposal from Nate? Cant it land as is and add "fine tuning" as arrives?
