This is what pops up on my screen after selecting "Shutdown Computer After Rednerings."

First of all, I marked the issue as unspecified because the bug appears in both the stable and development version of Kdenlive. I've made sure to test it.

The option "Shutdown Computer after Renderings" doesn't work properly. It will open up a popup window as shown in the attached file that asks me if I want to "shutdown this system now?." Instead of shutting down down the computer.

It should be noted that this issue doesn't occur in other Ubuntu Distros as I have tested in Ubuntu and it works just fine. It seems to be related to the Linux Mint Cinnamon desktop environment.

"shutdown computer after rendering" function is grayed out in version 18.12 and refactoring. Should we remove this function?

No. The function should be fixed.

Does it still happen with you? I cannot reproduce this in latest master but I am using Plasma. I wonder if this works in Windows as well?

I've had reports it works in appimage and gnome as well... please reopen if you still encounter the issue.
