Manual resizing is necessary to show the text. See my gif please.
It happens on Kubuntu 17.10 (K3b 17.08) and neon dev unstable.

Reproducible with K3b 18.08.1 on Arch Linux.

steps to reproduce:
open k3b
create an audio cd project
add any invalid file (text file, for example) to your audio cd project
error message shows up
click "Details" button
