Fontconfig

It looks like the font renderer does not use the bold variant of the font when rendering bold, or if it does, it ignores fontconfig settings. I have seen some possible duplicates but I believe they do not apply to my issue.

Attached are 2 screenshots created with this bash line: echo "`tput sgr0`this is `tput bold`bold`tput sgr0`". One is using the regular variant of the font, the other is using the bold variant of the font to show what rendering should look like on my system. Attached is also a slimmed version of my fontconfig.
The font that I am using has a license that does not allow me to attach it to this ticket.
