When previewing an animation with onion skinning turned on, the playback is very laggy and onion skin is still visible. This occurs regardless if drop frames is turned on or off.

I had tried updating Krita, restarting my computer and reinstalling the program but the issue still persists.

I'm not sure if this is a bug or if I had accidentally activated/deactivated something I wasn't supposed to.

Nevermind, I fixed it. I reset Krita back to default by deleting kritarc and reinstalling
