Currently, the 'translucent sticky note' option in the 'appearance' options uses dark text on a transparent background. This makes that particular option almost unusable for people who use dark wallpapers. It would be nice to have an option for light text on a transparent background too.

I wanted to add an option for text color to the sticky note plasmoid but Usability decided against it.. I don't find the discussion anymore right now.

Having transparent + with white text 

and transparet + black text 

might work ok.

Can you just do choose font colour option, as it was in KDE Plasma 4 notes-widget, please?

I forgot to ask about font size option. Basically it would be great if it could  work as in KDE Plasma 4.

Added "Transparent with light text" theme for Desktop Notes

Summary:
This commit adds one more simple theme for Desktop Notes, for ones who prefer the dark background and want to put sticky notes on it.

Will custom font colour for example yellow with transparent note be possible?

Are you aware that people use different photos as wallpapers and colour on wallpapers are not homogeneous and it is the best to allow to set custom colour at least by editing configuration file?

In Plasma 5 so many things are downgraded in relation to Plasma 4. So many options are lost. 

What about font size option? You just ignored it.

Just have a look at my wallpaper and how crappy this sticky note look (the text with name of the bug. Do you think black or white text is the solution here?

The font size - people with week eyesight really need bigger font.

Then don't choose a transparent background.

As for fonts, they follow system settings fonts.
