Description tomz 2017-11-08 09:55:53 UTC
I'm running KMail inside of Kontact on ArchLinux (which is known to not patch). The version is 5.6.2
Akonadi is, according to pacman, at version;
extra/akonadi 17.08.2-1

I have two emails in my inbox, both part of the same thread. I end up replying to the first of the two and then move the two to my folder that holds the mailinglist they are associated with.

5 minutes later I look in the folder that holds my conversation and I get really confused, the actual email content is still the same, but now the author and timestamp etc of the two emails are swapped.

Specifically, the folder-listing has author and other metadata swapped when compared to the actual content of the email. The threading is still correct, based on the content of the email.

It also lost the 'replied to' flag while moving.

As this is a destructive bug (data-mangling), I'm changing the severity to grave.

ps. I have never seen this bug before maybe a week ago. Making this a regression.
