Description Thomas Baumgart 2017-11-05 09:40:03 UTC
Currently, KMyMoney only supports a single source for online exchange rate downloads. Even the name is tied to a fixed string (Yahoo currency) though the source details can be changed, but changing the name restores the original settings and uses them. So effectively, the name cannot be changed.

KMyMoney should support

1) a way to provide multiple sources for online exchange rates
(as it does for security exchange rates),
2) being able to mark one of them (the first?) as default and
3) allow to select a source on a conversion base.

This is important now that Yahoo stopped providing the hardcoded service.

I think this should be top priority. I have been using KMM for 10+ years without issues, but now that it no longer works with Yahoo and having 20+ accounts in foreign currencies, KMM is now useless to be.

FYI quotes also ceased to work with Google. Using KMM 4.7.2
