Description Shitikanth 2017-11-05 04:56:33 UTC
So, I have "Alt + `" mapped to switch between different windows of the current application in Task Switcher settings. Here, I have noticed some difference between how the Task Manager groups applications and what the Task Switcher considers to be windows of the same application.

One specific way in which this is noticeable is using Chrome apps. Different chrome apps behave as different applications as far as the Task Manager is concerned, but the task manager considers them all as same application.

Steps to reproduce:

0. Enable "Alt + `" shortcut for switching between windows of current application in Task Switcher settings.

1. Add application shortcuts for some chrome apps.

2. Open chrome, and open some chrome apps using the application launcher. Notice that they appear as different applications in Task Manager.

3. With chrome as the active window, press "Alt + `" several times.

What happens: The Task Switcher will cycle through all open chrome windows, including the ones from different chrome apps.

Expected behaviour: Chrome and different chrome apps should be isolated from each other in Task Swither, as they are in the Task Manager.
