Hi, I like the new transaction feature of kmm8.0, thanks a lot. However, although it is possible to add multiple accounts to a payee, this functionality is currently not very helpful, since one can distinguish them only by IBAN/BIC. Therefore, it would help a lot to have an additional string for each account allowing to add some information for distinguishing them. My workaround at the moment is to create a different payee for each account and add the account information to the payees name. Of course, only a workaround. Best regards, Chris
Since every transaction refers to both the account and the payee, it should be possible to always distinguish them. Can you provide a more concrete example of where you find a problem? Someone may be able to may be able to make a suggestion to help with your particular use case. A payee is someone to whom you make payments. Accounts are where that money might come from. I'm in the US, so I don't use IBAN/BIC, so maybe there is something about your situation I just do not understand.

It refers to accounts of payees (external to KMyMoney) and making payments directly from within KMyMoney towards them. (Yes, that is possible using the HBCI protocol in Germany). It would be nice to have the name of the institution or some sort of identification together with IBAN/BIC entry to make it easier to distinguish between multiple accounts. For those of you who might not have seen this feature I attach a screenshot of the right pane of the payees view. I currently cannot make a screenshot of the place in the outbox view where you enter such a transaction because that is broken in master.
