neon dev unstable here...
start wayland session
open firefox and kate text editor
copy some text from firefox and paste it to kate (ok, it works)
close firefox and repeat previous step: nothing is pasted

That is kind of expected as there is no clipboard manager running. The relevant task is: https://phabricator.kde.org/T4449

As we don't need to track it at two different places I set this bug to resolved/later
