Hi, I am running digiKam 5.7.0 on Windows 10 and trying to Export to Google Photos. I select my photos, Select the Export > Google Photos option, but nothing happens. No window appears, or error message is shown.
Can you try with new 5.8.0 pre release installer please ? https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/0BzeiVr-byqt5Y0tIRWVWelRJenM
After turning off all plugins except the Google Services plugin, it worked. I will have to try with 5.8.0, although I am bit scared that using a non-released version will have a bad effect on my digikam database. Should I be concerned?
The database dysfunction ? mysql or sqlite. We don't touch mysql since a while, so in this case i will said "no". Gilles Caulier
Thanh, This file still valid with your GSoC 2018 devel branch ? Best Gilles Caulier
Gilles, This might be something relating to the app bundle? Thanh.
I don't think, as under the bundle is uptodate (not AppImage Linux, especially about openssl security issues) So i think it's an authentification failure. When your branch will be merged to master, i will rebuild the Windows installer and waiting user feedback. Gilles
The Windows installer have been recompiled with last changes from source code and is available here for testing : https://files.kde.org/digikam/ Take a care : it's a beta release. Make a database backup before to test. Gilles Caulier
Please test with 6.2.0 pre-release bundles available here : https://files.kde.org/digikam/ Thanks in advance Gilles Caulier

digiKam 7.0.0 beta2 64 bits pre-release Windows installer is now based on a more recent QtWebKit and include run-time dependencies for the internal web browser. Please test and give us a feedback to see if problem remain on your computer. https://files.kde.org/digikam/ Thanks in advance Giles Caulier
This problem can no longer be reproduced under digiKam-7.0.0-beta3. The export to Google Photos works fine on Windows. Maik
