Is there a Solid maintainer with a sufficiently large overview and familiarity with the entire framework to port it properly to categorised logging? Cf. https://phabricator.kde.org/D7401#inline-36030 I could introduce a logging category for just the IOKit backend, but I think it'd be cleaner to apply a coherent category design in a single commit to the whole framework.
grep for ecm_qt_declare_logging_category() in solid, that's how the logging categories are handled.
