Description hardy.public 2017-10-21 15:17:31 UTC
If I select two images without a caption, Edit Metadata, add a caption then click Next, I would like to carry over the text that I just typed in first image to the second image.

At the moment, I have to type or paste the text in again because clicking Next clears all the dialogue fields.

The contents in metadata editor is refresh at each image. You change from one to another, you load corresponding image metadata... This behavior is normal for me.

In my opinion that would be normal for images which already have metadata. However if the multiple selected images have empty metadata, the user most likely wants to add data and furthermore wants to apply the same or similar metadata.

Currently there seems to be little advantage over selecting individual thumbnails.
In short, selecting multiple images does not save any effort.
