Deinterlacing is not applied when rendering if source material is MPEG-2. It has been confirmed by other users here: https://forum.kde.org/viewtopic.php?f=272&t=141945

I have a progressive project, force progressive on render settings and my rendered file is still interlaced. Same results with webm and mp4, so it's not an FFMPEG issue.

Hi can you please test the latest version to see if you can still reproduce this issue?
