Description John Riley 2017-10-19 17:29:34 UTC
I installed latest Konversation stand-a-lone installer for Windows and got the error message about QCA-QT5.DLL is missing. Is there any place I can find the QCA-QT5.DLL and instructions as to where the file needs to go... My installer is konversation-1.7-4d135de6-windows-msvc2017_32-cl.exe

Ultimately goes to

Comment 7 John Riley 2017-11-12 21:56:40 UTC
I get asked that question all the time, by developers even. LOL!
Comment 8 Mike Lothian 2017-11-16 10:33:39 UTC
Any sign of that dll? I upgraded form Konversation 1.6 on Windows and now I can't get on IRC
Comment 9 Kevin Funk 2017-11-16 12:22:43 UTC
Note: The project owner shouldn't have put this installer online before testing it thoroughly.

I'd advise to downgrade to the working Konversation installer for the time being. Not sure when we/I find the time to debug this issue.
Comment 10 Mike Lothian 2017-11-16 22:02:18 UTC
The only reason I upgraded was because of the CVE that was announced today

So, how does this work? Do I run the Python file?
Comment 13 Kevin Funk 2017-11-19 18:11:05 UTC
We're just rebuilding the Windows installer package. Please check out the result of the new build (#98) in a few minutes:
