I installed latest Konversation stand-a-lone installer for Windows and got the error message about QCA-QT5.DLL is missing. Is there any place I can find the QCA-QT5.DLL and instructions as to where the file needs to go... My installer is konversation-1.7-4d135de6-windows-msvc2017_32-cl.exe

Uploaded a attachment, I too have the same issue as OP.
marking confirmed (fwiw)
Where did you get that installer from?
Following link on https://konversation.kde.org/ for Download -> windows
Ultimately goes to https://binary-factory.kde.org/job/konversation-stable-win32/
I get asked that question all the time, by developers even. LOL!
Any sign of that dll? I upgraded form Konversation 1.6 on Windows and now I can't get on IRC
Note: The project owner shouldn't have put this installer online before testing it thoroughly. I'd advise to downgrade to the working Konversation installer for the time being. Not sure when we/I find the time to debug this issue.
The only reason I upgraded was because of the CVE that was announced today
Git commit 8400d911da5d2dd17314cef8fc190d5301342435 by Kevin Funk. Committed on 19/11/2017 at 14:49. Pushed by kfunk into branch 'master'. Konversation need QCA M +1 -0 extragear/konversation/konversation.py https://commits.kde.org/craft-blueprints-kde/8400d911da5d2dd17314cef8fc190d5301342435
So, how does this work? Do I run the Python file?
We're just rebuilding the Windows installer package. Please check out the result of the new build (#98) in a few minutes: https://binary-factory.kde.org/job/konversation-stable-win32/
Confirmed good, thanks!
