Description ichbinich2 2017-10-16 22:12:04 UTC
When I want to change volume with scrolling over tray sound icon, it works, but if I scroll a bit faster (or on trackpad), the volume slider jumps down /up very inconsistently and it is very annoying.

same here on mouse, I need to scroll very slow.

If scrolling fast it randomly jumps but if doing it constantly if scrolling up the volume overall goes down, and scrolling down volume goes up ...

how can i help debug it?

mouse wheel fine (checked on xev)

I got this behavior today, as yesterday i did os upgrade, but jumped few versions because of waiting for some needed app to be updated latest OS libs.

OS: Arch
plasmashell 5.13.3

I found a clue, i discovered for example that the scroll also goes crazy when scrolling pages in Okular, but only if there are some floating windows like showing a sound volume level in the middle of the screen. as soon as it disappears the scroll goes back to being ok - no back-scrolling behavior.
