Description Harald Sitter 2017-10-11 08:27:01 UTC
bottom left there is a button "wipe usb disk" clicking it brings up a confirmation dialog "do you wanna wipe this bugger [clear disk and write image] [cancel]". it's hella confusing. is it going to wipe? or is it going to clear *and* write the image? and if it does the latter why doesn't the first button say so?
Comment 1 Harald Sitter 2017-10-11 08:44:41 UTC
as a follow up: wipe does not entail write so the dialog is just entirely wrong.

it should ask for confirmation to wipe only, there is no image writing in this step

There is no more clear or wipe button in the application. The button has been removed with the following commit.
