Created attachment 108223 [details] Screenshot of warning dialogue 1. I always get "No plugins loaded" warning when opening digiKam 5.7.0-2. Never occurred before. 2. I get the sane warning when I try to edit existing bookmark. 3. Added bookmarks are never saved.
The GPS bookmark is a feature coded inside digikam core. It's not a plugin. Bookmark are available from context menu of GPS Editor dialog list view. How do you try to play with bookmark exactly ? Gilles Caulier
Other Question : Which Windows version do you use ? 32 or 64 bits ? Gilles Caulier
I'm using Win10 64 bit. After selecting a photo then Ctrl+Shft+G, I right click on the thumbnail then go Boommarks -> Edit Bookmarks. The Edit Geolocation Bookmarks dialogue appears with a single book mark that I created in 5.6.0. When I click on the bookmark, I get the plugin warning and I do not seem to be able to edit the coordinates of the bookmark anyway. If I do Bookmarks -> Add Bookmark then add name and comment I've just noticed that there's nothing in the drop-down box to select for "where to keep it". Image attached.

I also reinstalled 5.7.0-2 but no difference.
You must first add a bookmark folder under "Edit Bookmark". I will check if there is a way to hide the bookmark administration from Marble. Maik
The drop down menu is to host bookmark in a directory form the bookmarks collection. It's empty because no sub directories exists yet in your collection. If you create a bookmark without a dropdown selection, it will host on root of bookmark collection. That all. I just tested, and it work fine under Linux. The plugin warning is specific to Windows. It's relevant of map view, and has nothing to do with bookmarks stuff. Something is badly installed with Windows installer. This will be fixed for next 5.8.0. Gilles Caulier
Many thanks Maik and Gilles, understood. I can create new bookmarks after creating the folder.

hardy, Just for info, i fixed the problem of missing plugin with the last 5.8.0 pre release installer. Please test and report : https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/0BzeiVr-byqt5Y0tIRWVWelRJenM Gilles Caulier
Thank you plugin problem gone. Maybe it is a coincidence but now it takes 30s for the Geolocation Editor window to be usable. For 30s it's just a white block. See image attached. Shall I raise a another ticket?

More accuratetely, the 30s delay is only on the first use of Geo Editor after digiKam launch. Thereafter there is no delay.
I remember somebody report this problem and Maik fix something few weeks ago. I suspect a reverse geocoding process with an Internet service. There are a lots of plugins available in Marble, that we don't use in fact. It's time to cleanup the bundle install to prevent this problem. Yes, another issue is the way to go. Gilles Caulier
