I want to print a document the fits the upper part of an A4 page; however, Okular just detects that a document is a horizontal rectangle and automatically chooses the "Landscape" orientation. I just am't able to configure Okular to print the way I want. Evince options are better displayed...
Just to make sure i understand what you want you want to print a landscape in portrait so as to have a huge whitespace at the bottom?

Yes, that's right. It means paper economy. More space left = space for printing another picture (or a copy from the first one), space for annotations etc. It's always better to offer options :-)
Thanks for the update; changing status. This looks like a request to print multiple pages per sheet (N-up option), I did not find a duplicate request.
In the 'Printer Properties' dialog, there is an option to print 2 pages per sheet. Could you check if using this option helps to resolve your issue?
If you can provide the information requested in comment #4, please add it.

Well. The intention isn't to print 2 pages for sheet. The request is simply to choose freely where an image should be printed (center, up, down, on landscape sheet, on portrait sheet etc... I think that users might have more freedom to choose about this. Okular even could maintain a default behavior, however, it coud offer some options about it. Sorry for taking long to comment. Thanks by the attention.
