I am sure if this entirely belongs to  Discover, but it affects me with Discovery. Please reassign to another component, if necessary. 

Problem: If I update packages with Discovery, it takes very long 3-10 seconds until I am asked for my password. I find this rather annoying. I also have seen this on other KDE installs with Kubuntu which I maintain for friends. I wonder if there is a way to speed this up?

I have been looking into it with some Neon devs, it definitely is under 3s.

Can you check if there's something special that maybe could add to this delay?

It has improved and is now longer a problem.
