Description Steffen Möller 2017-10-03 14:26:54 UTC
Observation planner -> Wizard does not offer to filter for pulsars (radio objects). Nor does the "find object" in view pointing. While this makes some sense as these objects are not directly observable, you may have access to a radio telescope or just happen to be curious about the effect of the radiation on the environment of those radio sources.

In general, I wish the the filtering for object types would be more in sync with the object types offered for manually entered deep sky objects.

Right, currently there is no support to filter any radio sources. This was added long ago but no longer maintained. It would be nice for it to be revived. We added a new DSO catalog import method in 3.5.5. Perhaps you can use this to import radio sources catalog?
