Description matt 2017-09-28 22:35:36 UTC
pressure not working on wacom intuos pro M driver updated 6.3.24-5 rebooted many times also tried old drivers from wacom. nothing seems to work. Pressure is showing in the wacom software so I know the tablet works.

Well, so which version of Krita are you using? Does it work if you enable the Pointer Input API instead of WinTab in Krita's configuration?

Also check https://docs.krita.org/KritaFAQ#What_if_your_tablet_is_not_recognized_by_Krita.3F -- your problem must be a settings problem, and is not a bug in Krita, but we cannot tell you exactly what's going on without more information.

debugview log on windows 7

on my laptop I could enable an experimental windows 8 check box that seemed to fix pressue there. on my windows 7 machine I see no checkbox so I am still broken on windows 7 machine. I included a log from debugview on the windows 7 machine.

Well, it's most likely a WinTab driver issue.

Comment 5 Alvin Wong 2017-10-02 15:48:57 UTC
Well, I installed Wacom driver version 6.3.24-5 on my system and it still works with Krita, so it must be something wrong with your system(s). Have you ever installed a WinTab driver for another brand of tablet?
Comment 6 matt 2017-10-02 16:52:58 UTC
I had another tablet before this one was sent to be repaired. It worked fine. Same brand and model. When I got this one from wacom it wouldn't work ouit of the box so I installed the software that came with it.
Comment 7 Alvin Wong 2017-10-02 17:30:52 UTC
Well, then this makes even less sense. I guess try uninstalling all tablet drivers completely and clear their configurations before installing the Wacom driver again?
Comment 8 matt 2017-10-02 18:30:30 UTC
Ok uninstalling Everything Wacom and reinstalling an old driver from the website seems to have me back up and running. I may try to get a newer driver though and hope it stays fixed. But I am working again Thanks for you help!
