(*** This bug was imported into bugs.kde.org ***) Package: khtml Version: KDE 2.9.2 Severity: normal Installed from: SuSE RPMs Compiler: Not Specified OS: Linux OS/Compiler notes: Not Specified When scrolling through a HTMl page with the mousewheel if the pointer goes over a dropdown select box you will start to scroll that. This means you can lose a previously selected option or even send the wrong option if you don't notice what you did. This is maybe related to bug #22204 about mousewheels and textarea boxes. I agree with that bug too. Mousewheel scrolling is nice for text boxes and select boxes but it's even nicer to use it for scrolling pages without having to be on your guard! My suggestion would be: make sure that mousewheel scrolling only applies to an HTML form element once that element has already been selected by other means (e.g. clicking). Cheers.
