Falkon doesn't know about printers in KDE (probably because of being snap). The only option is to print into PDF.
On my kde system (kubuntu artful + KDE PPA + falkon PPA), falkon seems to see the printers just fine. Using the falkon PPA means using a deb, not a snap for falkon, though. Hence, it looks a packaging issue, or a lack of functionality of the snap system, that is still a work in progress, I suppose. If you are on some ubuntu derivative, may I suggest trying the deb from the PPA in place of the snap? In general terms, when the deb is available, it may be preferrable in terms of integration with the rest of the system and resource usage, unless you distrust the package and you want to prioritize the sandboxing provided by the snap system.

Perfectly working here : Debian Sid Falkon 3.0.0, official debian package 3.0.0-3 QtWebEngine 5.10.1
I can confirm this issue in Falkon 3.1.0 using the snap version. Printer detection works fine when Falkon is compiled from source. The previous commenters seem to have *not* installed Falkon as a snap.
THis is definately a snap problem. Looking into it.
This is fixed in latest snap 23.08.2 from the snap store.
