Created attachment 107849 [details] Screenshot of the planned transactions and predicted balance I have an account with a planned transaction of -4.95 €. After the transaction the predicted balance is 340.55 € too low, messing up my financial planning quite a bit.
Unfortunatelly, this still happens in the current version 5.0.1 (OpenSUSE package). Is tehre any update?

How does the ledger view look like between the 15th and the 20th of September of your Girokonto? Are there any transactions already entered? I do have two files here with a load of scheduled transactions and cannot duplicate this problem. This is on branch 5.0 code.
Created attachment 115110 [details] errornous overview and ledger view for scheduled transactions Attached is what I get for my current account. Top (overview) vs. scheduled transactions in ledger view (bottom). I hope that helps
Hi KMyMoney team, The same problem as Mornielome and Stefan Vater. Just a question of understanding: in the overview for "Future Payments" the column is "Balance after". I wonder how this value is composed, because in my opinion nothing fits. Very simple: I have an account balance of 2,317.66, only one future income of 61.00, and I see a "balance after" of 2,380.16. According to my very simple calculation, the "balance after" should be 2.378,66. On my Girokonto with more payments, I find the balances to be even more chaotic. I definitely don't see through it. I've just ignored that for years since I've been using KMyMoney (2014). But now I want to know. Greetings from Riegelsberg Udo
@Udo: what is the configured forecast method? Scheduled or historic? You can find that setting in the forecast plugin view's settings. Do the numbers change when you select the other method?
Hi Thomas, Thank you for the info. I then found the settings under "Modules" and changed them to "Scheduled" and... voila... my balances are correct now. I don't need the "historic" forecast (I have no idea why I set it up that way many years ago). Greetings from Riegelsberg Udo PS: I have not changed the Status of this Bug
Before the bug gets closed, I'll ask if there are any suggestions for where in the manual this could be mentioned.
Created attachment 156565 [details] 3 Screenshots Forecast Hi Jack, The manual says that this can be changed in "Settings" under "Forecast". (screen shot 1) That is not right. It can only be changed under "Modules". But the manual says nothing about it. It is only described that activating and deactivating modules is possible. (screen shot 2) In fact, the "Forecast" can be edited in the "Modules" with the button marked in green. (Screenshot 3) Unfortunately I had to search a bit... I hope I could help. Greetings from Riegelsberg Udo
