KIOexec error message - German

When I drag-and-drop an email for example from my Kmail inbox onto the desktop it creates a link which is just an expected and "natural" behaviour. When I later click on the link to open the email again, it creates an KIOexec error (attached). German translation: A folder named [path] already exists.

Please fix that problem so that an email link just works like a file link and opens the respective email. That should work throughout plasma, of course.

Thank you very much in advance for caring!

(Why is that important? If I use a folder for a project to collect all notes, documents, relevant weblinks etc. emails are an important part of it and I need to be able to recall them from that folder [or even from a .txt or .odt document which has the link inserted as a hyperlink!!].

When using Folder Containment, I can copy/move/link the email just fine. However, when using Desktop Containment, it hangs at "Determining mime type" indefinitely.

However, creating a "Link" results in the described behavior.

Re-assigning to KMail. Doing xdg-open akonadi:?item=12345&type=message/rfc822&parent=123 results in the described error.
