Description alberto 2017-09-10 12:21:03 UTC
key framing on custom effects are applied using the starting point of the keyframe

This is okay for custom effects used to fade in stuff, but it doesnt work for fade out custom effects

A check box "Relative to end" somewhere would be great. Even adjust relative to what for each keyframe. Relative to last kf? relative to kf #3?

Thanks for considering it!

I see that every effect makes their own keyframing insfrasctucture

position and zoom has a sync keyframes with clip start toogle button but transform does not. And they buttons are different as well

These 2 have very similar functionalities btw, Merging them would make a lot of sense from the final user perspective (probably not so much from the different author developer perspective)

I now see that transform effect have the option to save keyframes relative to the end. Its a little hidden tho :)

Seeing that the keyframing infrastructure is not shared but developed for every effect, im not sure if this bug makes sense

Feel free to close it or repurpose it

Refactoring the keyframing thing so its used by all effects where it makes sense would be nice :)
