I have to have 2 separate title clips and composite them If i want to add some kind of transparency to a title

For example, text over a 25% transparent image/rectangle

Having an extra option called transparency in the properties of the elements would add a very fancy option to it that will multiply the possibilities :)

For non-image items you can do this within the color dialog (Alpha channel)
