Description Gregor Mi 2017-09-06 08:22:35 UTC
Created attachment 107712 [details]
possible location for the open folder list

For example, when saving attachments from an email program I often find myself having the target folder already open. It would be very convenient if there would be a list of all open folders in the Save As or Choose Folder Dialog. Then the target folder would be only one click away.

The list could be placed in the dropdown list (see attached screenshot) or as separate element in the places bar (see screenshot here: https://store.kde.org/p/1156273 "[IDEA] Open folders in "Save as" dialog")

Workaround/current workflow: go to Dolphin window of the opened target folder, press Ctrl+L to select location bar, press Ctrl+C to copy path to clipboard, go back to Save As / Choose Folder dialog, press Ctrl+L, press Ctrl+V and then Enter.

This is a great idea.

Marking as a duplicate of Bug 143043, since open folders would always show up in the "Recent Folders" list.
