Description Bollebib 2017-08-23 10:03:15 UTC
The reason mainly is workflow improvement. I work in isolated layer mode constantly, but sometimes these are in hidden groups or are hidden themselves. Those groups are hidden for export later, and its a lot of managing to hide/unhide all the time if you work as I do.

being able to paint (or transform or other operations) on a layer that is hidden OR in a hidden group ONLY when isolate layer mode is active would help a lot.

11:52:55 - Bollebib_Pupu: […] it has been made possible to delete a layer when it is invisible, because of workflow reasons (amongst other)
11:52:55 - Bollebib_Pupu: but i would ask if it would also be possible to be able to paint on a hidden layer or a layer in a hidden group
11:52:55 - Bollebib_Pupu: But only when "isolate layer " mode is active,so that means you can actually see the contents
