Description nwf 2017-08-23 00:59:20 UTC
As #315053 notes, it is possible to add the page number widget (containing all of a previous button, a current page text box, an indication of current position, and a next button) to the toolbar.

However, when the toolbar is vertically oriented, the result is unreasonably wide. It would be nice if either

* this widget recognized the vertical nature of the containing toolbar and broke itself into multiple horizontal pieces (e.g. [prev next] [current page] [N of M])

* the constituent objects were available as independent toolbar widgets. This already appears to be somewhat the case, as there are explicit "Previous Page" and "Next Page" widgets already.

Thanks!
