It would be great, if images could be uploaded to Nikon Image Space (https://www.nikonimagespace.com/), as easy as it can be done for Flickr.

Do you know if there is a freely available Web API for this service? I can not find any.

I've passed the question on to Nikon support.Let's see what they'll respond.

OK, I got a response from Nikon:

"Leider sind die von Ihnen angeforderten Informationen nicht öffentlich zugänglich. Es handelt sich dabei um vertrauliche Firmeninformationen, die nicht an Personen außerhalb von Nikon weitergegeben werden dürfen. Ich bedaure, dass ich Ihnen die gewünschten Informationen nicht zur Verfügung stellen kann."

I guess it's OK for you if I don't translate it. The information is confidential and they can't make it available outside Nikon.

So no easy access for exporting from open-source software, which would mean reverse-engineering would be required. Seems like too much effort with possibly little demand for it. :-(

As expected, coming from Nikon.

So, we close this file as WONTFIX. Thanks Nikon to play the game in the real world...

Yes, the answer from Nikon (I speak German) is already annoying, also because I use Nikon myself.

NIS has a feedback link at the bottom of the page. I've suggested they should provide a documented interface and mentioned digikam.

It wouldn't harm if others interested do provide similar feedback.

Does anyone know if Nikon have given a key to Adobe Lightroom?
