If current desktop is KDE - and in tray Device Notifier -> right click -> Configure Removable Devices -> 'Enable automatic mounting of removable media' is turned off - then in Krusader even with turned on 'Automount filesystems' checkbox - removable filesystems/drives are not automounting after their attachment.

Tooltip 'Automount filesystems' is saying: "When stepping into a folder which is defined as a mount point in the <b>fstab</b>, try mounting it with the defined parameters."
So it's only for fstab devices, not dynamic mount points.

This is what I found in the code. The question is why tooltips are not displayed in Konfigurator. Do you also see no tooltips? I need to file a bug for that.

I figured out where those tips are. It's a "What's This?" feature activated by a button with a question mark at the window header.
