Whenever I try to render an animation with audio into an mp4 file, the video only shows me the audio and not the actual animation. The video being played is just black.
What format is your image exactly? What format are you rendering the frames to? Are the frames themselves visible? ffmpeg can only with with 8 bit/channel png images.

I can see the frames when i'm in krita but the rendered video is pure black.
Can you check whether the png's created when rendering the frames are black, too?
