Since last week I add weather applet to my system tray. I found after several hours usage, the CPU and RAM will gradually be used up. plasmashell process and X will use ~20% of a Core i7 CPU and 5 GB RAM. After disabled weather widget on system tray, this problem disappeared for a long while.

Is this using Qt 5.9?

Finally I found this is not a bug of weather applet, but slideshow wallpaper. https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=381000

With only weather applet, CPU and RAM of plasmashell are normal: 4% and 180 MB.
