Created attachment 106987 [details] Screenshot example. There is text in the New Post field that says BEHAVIOR When you log into Google+ (https://plus.google.com), Google's social network, and click the "New Post" button (which is a red circle at the bottom-right of the screen with a pencil icon), it opens up a new post pop-up window. Problem is, the background is white, and the text is almost white, so it's very difficult to read (see screenshot). I've included my GTK application appearance settings in a screenshot. Text shows dark against a white background in Google Chrome, Chromium, and Epiphany (which is GTK) web browsers. Firefox seems to be the only browser with this issue. EXPECTED BEHAVIOR When GTK apps are assigned the "Breeze Dark" theme, that the new post and comment text for https://plus.google.com would still be black or dark, not white and blending in with the background. Comment on attachment 106987 [details] Screenshot example. There is text in the New Post field that says Sorry, that says "TEXT IS DARK".
This is a bug in whatever application shows this window. Either it respects the system palette for both text and background, or none of them (i.e. uses hard-coded colors). Since I have no idea which application shows this window, you have to ask in a forum of your distribution for the correct bug tracker.
I put the application in the original title of the bug "(in Firefox)". So you're saying the bug is with Firefox, that it is using hard-coded colors and not responding to the theme?
I missed that. So yes, report to Firefox developers.
will do, thank you!
