Before turning the monitor off the scaling works fine

Greetings,

I have a dual monitor setup (4k and 1080p) with 1.7 scaling and 156 custom DPI for fonts. Everything works fine but when i turn off the 4k monitor (it auto turns off when is not in use), the scale for all the open windows (for example Dolphin or Konsole) resets and the only way to get the Correct scale back is closing all the application's windows and opening them again.

Thanks in advance

are you using X11 or Wayland?
Comment 3 marcorestom 2017-07-27 19:49:52 UTC
I'm using X11
Comment 4 Martin Flöser 2017-07-28 04:15:27 UTC
I'm sorry, but on X11 KWin is not responsible for it.

Ok, but the problem remains and i think this place is for solving the bugs. What Product and Category should i use?
Comment 6 Martin Flöser 2017-07-29 07:40:18 UTC
For KWin it's invalid. Please leave it at this state. I do not know which component is responsible for it, but I'm pretty sure it's not our software. It might be X or Qt.
