Hi Leslie, one more bug, hehe.

Check "do not eject medium after write process" in K3b settings

Erase some rewritable disc. When the process is finished, device notifier shows the same disc label before erase process.
I open dolphin and click on the media label under "devices", I get a red bar with an error message and the device notifier says "could not mount this device" (see the screenshot).
After eject and reinsert the erased disc, the device notifier shows the correct info about the disc ("blank cd-rw", see the screenshot).

After burn a disc, device notifier says the disc is still empty (see the screenshot) and dolphin shows no entry to the just burned disc under "devices" (see the screenshot). I need eject and reinsert the disc to access its content.

Great bug hunter :) you need to re-eject and re-insert to refresh the content, right? I will try to fix it.
