Should I really report this purely cosmetic bug ?
Well, I love the orthographic projection. It's my favorite.
It would be even nicer if - while showing KStars to the public - the Telescope marker would turn a bit darker when it is on the other side of the celestial sphere !
I know, I know : priorities ....

Have you tried changing the telescope crosshair color from the color options in KStars?

Changing the Target Indicator color doesn't change the situation.
What I mean is that this color should become darker when we turn the celestial sphere to indicate that the target is on the back side of the sphere , and then should become lighter again when back on the front side of the sphere.

Ah okay, interesting suggestion, I'll keep in mind. Thanks!

Now that I think about it, it's quite a bit difficult to implement with very little benefit and might even confuse users, so I'll mark as WONTFIX.
