Screen recording of bug

Hello,

when I draw on a big canvas (here 7000 x 5000 pixels) and I draw strokes in quick succession, the canvas behind the strokes flickers occasionally. The bigger the strokes and the faster the drawing, the more often it happens. It can happen with smaller strokes too.

OS: Windows 7 64-Bit, 64GB RAM
GFX: NVIDIA Geforce GTX 780 Ti

In the attachment you can see a screen recording of the issue.

Cheers,
Andreas

That's instant preview.

You can turn it off: https://docs.krita.org/Instant_Preview

Hello,

I've read that suggestion before, but it's no viable solution. If I turn it off, the brush strokes get really slow and lag behind. I guess "Instant Preview" was implemented for a reason. That's even worse than the flickering. I actually prefer the flickering to the lagging.

So this isn't really a fix to the issue.

Cheers,
Andreas
