I attempt to disable the behavior of considering "Recommends" packages as dependency, however the Apply button silently failed.

Same behaviour on Neon dev edition and Kubuntu (artful tested so far)

No auth request to confirm change, and exiting and re-opening dialog shows that the change did not apply.

Muon is no longer maintained, please switch no a supported alternative like https://apps.kde.org/discover/ or the package manager native no your system.
