When I try to open my project I recieve this message. Could not open C:/Users/Raymond Bieber/Documents/digital paint/ut skyline.kra Reason: Not a valid Krita file: C:/Users/Raymond Bieber/Documents/digital paint/ut skyline.kra I need this for college.
Try to repair the file with a tool like ziprepair; I am afraid it does sound like your system might have corrupted the file :-(
Created attachment 106760 [details] attachment-13189-0.html I tried to send the file to see if they could fix it but the file is to big. Is there any way to get the file to the support team. Sorry for the late reply... Krita isn't created by a company, there is no such thing as a support team, just a bunch of overworked open source developers. You can, of course, share the file with us through dropbox or google driver or wedrive. And then I can use the ziprepair tool to see if the file is salvagable. You can use ziprepair on it yourself: https://www.diskinternals.com/zip-repair/ Copy the .kra file, change the extension to .zip and open it in zip-repair.
I'm sorry, but we cannot handle this as a bug; something must have gone wrong when saving. Since 3.1.2 we've added extra checks to avoid things like this happening, though.
