In some extend it is possible with Digikam to define some metadata in database and write them into files only when one wants to do it (publishing for example).
But some other metadata are not manageable "without" writing info into files.
Would it be possible to allow their definition directly in Database ?

As a corrollary a fluid equivalence between Description/Tags/Information/Geotags (in database) and metadata would be set (if I set City in Information the corresponding metadata should be synchronized).
