Hello! This bug was also happening on krita 3.1.4... I am using Krita on my Mac OS Sierra 10.12.5 and about a day after i installed krita this started happening to me. Switching to 4 prealpha didnt help either. Everytime i click on the popup color palette triangle, the whole selector starts spazzing out until it eventually calms down. It happens to the normal color palette if i have the pop up one open at the same time as well. Here is a link to a video showing the bug in action: https://vimeo.com/225441798
Hm, previous reports were doing this in CMYK, but it seems you have this issue in RGB... The advanced color selector docker has this issue because it updates automatically, so that's not the problem. Just the pop-up palettehaving rounding errors, as usual.
Is this still happening? I am on a Windows 10 and it seems fine. Not sure if this issue is specific to OSX. See if you can test on a nightly build (or at least the last 4.2 alpha that is in testing)
Im not the reporter but I do not get this behaviour in macOS anymore. And judging by the report date it is possible it is already fixed. Tested in RGBA and CMYK
