The KML/DGML combination used on bug 333484 has ceased to create a pin on the map. KML files that rely on relative paths to put together data seems to not work, but older KML files using the notation "<role></role>" still appears to work as intended. https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=333484 Could be related: https://git.reviewboard.kde.org/r/108039/
